What is your role at J Finance?

I am a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. On the protection side, I build personalised advice for each client, helping them understand the cover available and why it matters. A thorough review of their financial and personal circumstances gives me the information I need to make a suitable recommendation, giving clients confidence that if something unexpected were to happen, they have the right cover in place.

On the mortgage side, I help clients secure the right deal for their needs. I explain the different mortgage types and options available, search the market, and recommend the most suitable solution based on their individual circumstances.

What qualities make you best suited for your role?

I have been working with clients since 2003 and within financial services since 2014. Over that time I have learned to really listen to people and build relationships that last. I have come to understand that every person I meet is unique and that the things that matter most to each individual are different. I try to bring kindness, openness, and a genuinely positive attitude to every conversation.

Why should someone listen to your advice?

Because I always base my advice on careful thought, real experience, and the best interests of the person in front of me. I listen first, consider all the facts, and aim to give guidance that is practical, honest, and genuinely helpful. My goal is not to impress clients but to help them make the best possible decision for their situation.

What do you like best about working at J Finance?

J Finance is a client-focused, supportive team with real integrity. It is a company that values long-term relationships over simply closing transactions, and I appreciate being part of a workplace where professionalism, transparency, and genuine care for clients are central to everything we do. It is motivating to work somewhere where the advice you give makes a real difference to people's lives.

Describe your typical day.

I start every morning with a training session, which sets me up with the energy I need for the day ahead. Most of my working day is then spent with clients, either in meetings or working through their cases, always doing my best to find the right solution for each person.

What do you like to do at the weekend?

Football is a big part of our family weekends, and we fit in plenty of other sports and activities too. We usually round things off with an evening spent with friends.

What is the one thing you could not do without?

Sport. It keeps me energised, focused, and ready for whatever the week brings.

Where is your ideal holiday?

Somewhere far away, sunny, and by the sea. The further the better.
