What is your role at J Finance Ltd?

As a Client Relationship Manager, I’m here to be that helping hand throughout the whole journey. My job is to make the process feel as smooth as possible for both our clients and our brokers. That means checking in with clients, answering questions, and keeping things moving by liaising with lenders and solicitors until everything is wrapped up and complete.

What qualities make you best suited for your role?

I’m naturally curious and love getting a full picture of a client’s situation when I pick up a case. Having spent nearly 14 years in banking and finance, I’ve built up lots of knowledge about the industry and the process from start to finish. That experience has given me a real eye for detail and helps me ask the right questions to make sure our clients get the very best support.

What do you like best about working with J Finance?

After three years of working fully remotely, it’s brilliant to be back in a team environment again. Everyone here genuinely cares about giving clients the best possible experience – and that makes coming into work not just rewarding, but fun too.

What makes you happy?

Spending time with my family. I’ve got two young children, and hanging out with them and my partner Joe is my favourite thing to do. We love days out at the seaside, trips to the park – basically anything outdoors that helps the kids burn off some energy! I also enjoy switching off with a good TV binge, losing myself in whatever series I’m hooked on at the time.

What’s the last thing you do at night?

I set my alarm for 7am (though my kids usually wake me up earlier anyway!), pop on a podcast, and set a timer so if I doze off, I don’t miss too much of the episode.

What do you like to do at the weekend?

Weekends are all about family time and catching up on life admin. That could be a trip to the library, some shopping, or a day at the seaside for a bit of fresh air. As long as we’re together and get to relax, I’m happy.
